Ointment or cream

2% sulphur and 2% salicylic acid

Uses

  • Dandruff
  • Acne
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis

Dose and Duration

Dandruff, acne, eczema

Apply to the affected area at least 2 times per week. In severe cases, it may be applied daily for 3 days, then twice weekly.

Psoriasis

Apply a thin layer every 8 hours until symptoms improve. Use with lotion to moisturise the skin.

Patient Instructions

  • Wash hands thoroughly before and after using the ointment (unless lesions are on the hands).
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
  • Do not apply to breasts if breast-feeding.
