Dose and Duration
Cyanide poisoning (after sodium nitrite)
Adult and child: by slow IV injection over about 10 minutes, 12.5 g followed by 6.25 g after 30 minutes if symptoms recur.
Child: 400 mg/kg (max 12.5 g) repeated in severe poisoning after 30 minutes.
