  • Umbilical granuloma (overgrowth of tissue) in new-borns

Dose and Duration

Warts on hands and feet

Moisten the tip of the pencil with a small amount of water and apply directly to affected area for 1–2 minutes every 24 hours.
Do not use more than 3 times.

Umbilical granuloma

Apply moistened pencil tip to granuloma for 1−2 minutes. Protect surrounding skin with petroleum jelly.

Contra-indications

  • Warts in the genital and anal area

  • May cause burns on normal skin
  • Stains skin and fabric

Patient Instructions

  • Remove dead skin by gently filing before applying pencil
  • Protect surrounding skin by applying Vaseline or petroleum jelly before using the pencil
  • Can stain skin and clothes
  • Not suitable for use on the face, genitals or around anus
  • Wash hands thoroughly before and after using the ointment (unless lesion is hands)
