  • Anogenital warts
  • Plantar warts

Dose and Duration

Warts

Apply to warts twice daily for 3 consecutive days. Rinse off after 1–6 hours. Repeat treatment at weekly intervals but no more than 4 times in total

Contraindications

  • Inflamed or bleeding lesions
  • Children under 12 years

Side Effects

▼
  • Local irritation (itching, burning, pain)
  • Systemic effects (nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, renal failure, neurotoxicity, delirium, hearing and visual disturbances)

Patient Instructions

  • Do not apply to normal skin, face, eyes or open wounds
  • Protect normal skin around wart with petroleum jelly before applying medicine

Breast-feeding

  • Can be used. Do not apply to breasts

⚠️ Caution

▼
  • Application to lesions greater than 4 cm² and genital warts in females should be done by a trained medical professional
  • Prolonged use or use on large areas can lead to local necrosis and systemic toxicity. If lesions still not resolved after using for 4 weeks, refer for surgical removal
