MENINGOCOCCAL VACCINE CONJUGATE (A + C)

Inactivated polysaccharide antigens of Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A and C.
It is recommended for individuals at high risk for example, those in military camps, boarding schools, travellers to endemic areas, asplenic individuals and those with inherited immune deficiencies. It can also be used for mass immunisation in emergency outbreaks. For routine immunisation of infants, Meningococcal group C conjugate vaccine produces a better response and should be used instead.
