Adult and child over 12 years and body weight >35 kg: by mouth, 10 mg every 6–8 hours (max 40 mg daily)
Child with body weight up to 35 kg: 0.25–0.5
mg/kg eve ry 6–8 hours (max 1.0 mg/kg daily) Do not use for more
than 7 days

Prolactinoma
In case increased gastrointestinal motility is harmful

Erythromycin (increased plasma concentration of domperidone)
Patient Instructions

Take your medicine at least 30 minutes before a meal or 2 hours
after a meal

Seek medical attention in case palpitations or fainting

Use with caution in patients with QT-interval prolongation,
concomitant use with drugs that prolong the QT interval,
electrolyte imbalances, cardiac disease, patients over 60 years
of age, children or oral dose >30 mg daily
Avoid use of domperidone in patients with hepatic impairment.
Reduce dose in renal impairment
