Uses

  • Treatment of localised psoriasis vulgaris

Dose and Duration

Treatment of localised psoriasis vulgaris
Adult and children: Apply a thin layer of ointment once daily to the affected areas for 2–4 weeks. Leave ointment in place for 10–20 minutes before rinsing it off thorough ly. Gradually increase the strength from 0.1% to 2% and contact time to 60 minutes at weekly intervals. Some 0.1–0.5% preparations are suitable for overnight use

  • Acute eruptions
  • Excessively inflamed skin
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Acute and pustular psoriasis

⚠️ Caution

  • Avoid normal skin during application
  • Avoid contact with eyes due to risk of conjunctivitis
  • Wear protective gloves or wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use
