Dose and Duration

No bathing while using the medicine
Scabies
Adult: Apply undiluted lotion all over the whole body (including scalp, neck, head, and ears) every 24 hours for 3 days
Child:Use diluted lotion and apply as for adults
Lice infestation
Apply to affected areas of the body Repeat after 12 hours Wash off after 24 hours Repeat treatment after 7–14 days to kill any lice that may have emerged from the eggs
Note:Treat whole family

  • For use on children: Dilute lotion with an equal part of water to give 12.5% strength

  • Skin irritation, burning sensation, rashes

Patient instructions

  • Shave off hair if used for head lice. If head not shaved, massage well into scalp.
  • Avoid contact with eyes
  • Avoid use on face, broken skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes
  • Apply properly in between fingers, toes, behind ears, and under the nails
  • Wash hands thoroughly before and after use
  • Do not swallow; it is poisonous
  • Do not apply to breasts if breast-feeding
